On this 10 day adventure we will spend 4 days backpacking in the stunning Alaskan wilderness, 4 days sea kayaking and camping on pristine and untouched beaches, and 1 day white water rafting.

Every morning we will start the day with scripture study and every night we will finish with Journal time and a devotional.

We use the best guides in the business to keep us safe in the Alaskan wilderness but to also have the most fun possible!

                   August 9th – Day 1: Head to Canada for a fun 1-day whitewater rafting trip

                   August 10th – Day 2: Launch for sea kayaking

                   August 13th – Day 6: Return from sea kayaking

                   August 14th – Day 7: Launch for backpacking

                   August 18th – Day 10: Return from backpacking

                   August 19th – Day X: Depart Haines for travel home

    Each morning we will begin with scripture study and each night will be filled with actual firesides around the fire. Our focus will be to help the participants learn how they hear God’s voice! Not only will each participant come home with an increased relationship with God but also with countless friends that will help them stay strong in the gospel of Jesus Christ

WEFY Backpacking

Teenagers have a lot of “mountains to climb” in their future. Missions, college, work, relationships, questions etc.. There will be times where they want to quit. It will be hard. We have intentionally designed this backpacking trip to be hard. Our hope is that as they carry their backpacks through Coyote Gulch they will begin to see and understand that they can do hard things without giving up! (Philippians 4:13)
