    What to Expect

    What to Expect

    You can do hard things!

    Disconnect to reconnect...

Our trips are challenging by design. They push you to your limits, but that's where true growth happens. Expect early mornings and intense days—this isn’t a vacation. If you're ready for something tough, you'll return home stronger, more confident, and with a renewed sense of self.

We don’t want to prepare the trail for the child. We want to prepare the Child for the trail.

On our trips, phone are not allowed—just the raw beauty of nature and the bonds you'll form with others. As you disconnect from the digital world, you’ll reconnect with the simple joys of human connection and deepen your relationship with God. Through the challenges you face, you’ll learn to lean on Heavenly Father, growing closer to Him with each step.

By the end of this journey, you’ll return home with a stronger connection to God, knowing more deeply that you are His child. The spiritual strength you gain will stay with you long after the trip ends.

Throughout this journey, you'll find support from guides and leaders who genuinely care about your spiritual path, no matter where you are in your faith. We’ll start as strangers, but by the end, we’ll be lifelong friends.

    Why Wilderness Adventures?

    Who Are We?

YWE takes youth, young adults, and sometimes adults all over the world to adventure in the wilderness!

Our trips are AMAZING. However they are more than just Amazing trips. Our trips are designed to help youth come home better than when they left.  They will come home with a greater desire to serve God, with more self confidence, new lifelong friends and a clearer idea of what they will want for their future!

Side Note: Our trips are NOT meant for “troubled youth”. We are not equipped to handle behavioral problems while in the wild. Rather we help kids that want to connect with God and go on amazing adventures.

    What is Our Goal?

Our goal is to help youth connect with God through wilderness adventures! While on these excursions the youth will gain confidence in themselves, in Heavenly Parents, and in Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to prepare the kid for the trail, not the trail for the kid. We want the youth to live by faith and not by fear. We want them to understand that there is no growth in the confort zone.

Finally our goal is for our participants to see how awesome life can be when they put down their smart phones, take out the headphones and connect with other people in the outdoors. Disconnect to reconnect!

    Wilderness Adventure

All things denote there is a God (alma 30:44) and all things testify of the Savior. (Moses 6:63) As the youth begin to see the hand of God in his creations and through outdoor experiences we belive they will begin to see the Hand of God in all aspects of life.

    I Can do Hard Things!

The youth have a lot of “mountains to climb” in their future. Missions, college, work, relationships, questions etc.. There will be times where they want to quit. It will be hard. We have intentionally designed this program to be hard. Our hope is that as they complete these hard experiences they will begin to see and understand that they can do hard things without giving up! (Philippians 4:13)
