Become a Trip Leader

Thanks so much for your interest and curiosity in helping the youth grow closer to God.

If you love God, adventure, the outdoors, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and helping teenagers then you would be a great trip leader. Being a YWE trip leader is a volunteer position that gives you the opportunity to go on incredible once in a lifetime adventures for free!!

YWE trip leader Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Loves God
  • Temple worthy
  • Loves the Outdoors
  • Loves helping youth draw nearer to God
  • Available for Mandatory Trip Leader Training/camping trip on May 30-31
  • 21 years old or a Returned Missionary
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Physically capable of hiking 10 miles per day with a heavy backpack
  • Strong Testimony of God, Jesus Christ, and the Restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
  • Have a love for the youth as big as Mt Everest!
  • Keep the kids safe, help them connect to God and have a ton of fun!
