This trip is for adults 18 years and older. Teenagers may also come if accompanied with a parent.

Our Everest base camp trek is the adventure of a lifetime, a journey for those whose dreams soar higher than even the clouds. Miles from cars, conveniences, and daily luxuries, you'll saturate your spirit in natural beauty, God’s creations, and stretch your personal endurance beyond what you thought possible. The path begins in ancient Kathmandu, where you'll acclimate and explore the city at your leisure while anticipating your ascent. Your trek will be to Everest Base Camp at 17,598 feet!  We will be at  the base of the world's tallest mountain and our trek  will bring you over suspension bridges spanning chasms of thin air, through hidden Buddhist monasteries, and into the heart of the warm, rugged Sherpa culture. As you travel alongside thrillseekers and photographers from all over the globe, you'll spy Cho Oyu, Lhotse, and Makalu - three of Earth's 10 tallest peaks! You'll rest easy at night in cozy, traditional teahouses knowing that we’ve hired experienced, knowledgeable guides and porters are there to ensure the safest, most enjoyable, most fascinating experience possible. You'll support local economies, discover hidden strengths in yourself, and make both friends and memories that will last a lifetime. What are you waiting for?

Our trek package is pretty much all inclusive once you arrive in Nepal. We provide airport shuttles, the first and last night’s hotel in Kathmandu, round trip Lukla flights, accommodation and all the meals while trekking, porters for carrying gear, as well as park permits and fees. We handle everything from once we’ve arrive in Kathmandu until we are ready to depart after our trek.

The only additional expenses you'll need are your visa on arrival, travel insurance (we require a policy that covers evacuation up to 6000 meters), and a tip for your guide and porter team. Of course, if you want snacks on the trail or to connect to wifi at the tea house, these kinds of services have a small additional charge as well.

This trip will be geared towards helping its participants grow closer to God and connect with those on the trip. This will truly be a trip of a lifetime!!

WEFY Backpacking

Teenagers have a lot of “mountains to climb” in their future. Missions, college, work, relationships, questions etc.. There will be times where they want to quit. It will be hard. We have intentionally designed this backpacking trip to be hard. Our hope is that as they carry their backpacks through Coyote Gulch they will begin to see and understand that they can do hard things without giving up! (Philippians 4:13)
