Why Wilderness Adventures?

Who Are We?

YWE takes youth, young adults, and sometimes adults all over the world to adventure in the wilderness! Our trips are not meant for “troubled youth”. We are not equipped to handle behavioral problems while in the wild. Rather we help kids that want to connect with God and go on amazing adventures.

What is Our Goal?

Our goal is to help youth connect with God through wilderness adventures! While on these excursions the youth will gain confidence in themselves, in Heavenly Parents, and in Jesus Christ.

Wilderness Adventure

All things denote there is a God (alma 30:44) and all things testify of the Savior. (Moses 6:63) As the youth begin to see the hand of God in his creations and through outdoor experiences we belive they will begin to see the Hand of God in all aspects of life.

I Can do Hard Things!

The youth have a lot of “mountains to climb” in their future. Missions, college, work, relationships, questions etc.. There will be times where they want to quit. It will be hard. We have intentionally designed this program to be hard. Our hope is that as they complete these hard experiences they will begin to see and understand that they can do hard things without giving up! (Philippians 4:13)
